Mersing - gateway to Tioman If you're wondering how to get to Tioman, it's actually quite simple. Just hop on any of the buses that depart from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. Destination: Mersing. Buses also depart from Malacca, Kuantan, Rompin and even from Penang. You can of course also take a taxi if you prefer comfort and convenience over low cost. Once in Mersing, hop on the ferry.
